Senior Java Developer

A large government department is looking to appoint several Senior J2EE Developer to join their team for a 10 month contract starting ASAP until the end of the financial year with the view to be extended. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and development of key systems and applications. You will also be involved in the development, maintenance and unit test system components

To be successful you must be able to demonstrate as many of the following tools, products and environments:

  • Experience with Object Oriented concepts
  • Java/J2EE/JEE Design & Development (Generics, Annotations, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience with SOAP, XML, JMS, EJB 3, & Web Service
  • Experience with Spring & Hibernate
  • Rational Software Architect
