We’re looking for a strong and experienced demand planner to oversee and manage the forecasting and inventory processes for our lubricants range. This role is responsible for developing and executing demand plan and inventory plans that will enable the department to meet sales and service objectives. You would also be involved in managing the product life cycle for the lubricants product range in terms of master data (material master, categorisation, excise status) and provide guidance and recommendations to internal stakeholders through planning forums. You would be comfortable discussing with confidence, safety stock, inventory strategy ahead of season and other changes in demand, promotions or start /end of product life. As a subject matter expert, you would be an effective communicator with sound influencing skills and possess a strong eye for detail, a passion for analysis and have advanced SAP and Excel skills. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3-4 years experience from a large FMCG environment preferably from a high SKU volume environment and be tertiary qualified. Interested?
