Our client is a world leading organisation who values excellence & innovation and is looking for an experienced logistics supervisor.  The logistics supervisor role is responsible for and involved in receipts, dispatch, movement, material flow, accountability and transactions of material both locally and overseas.  Their global reach requires you to communicate and work effectively with international contacts. 

The ideal candidate will have SAP exposure, experience in aerospace and have held a supervisory role in logistics.

Ideally we are looking for:

• proven supervisory experience in logistics
• abilities in broad supply chain experience including warehousing, receiving, dispatching and materials management
• strong skills in ms word, SAP would be an asset
• good planning & organisational skills
• motivated, high attention to detail and strong communication skills
• current forklift licence and hazardous goods license or the ability to obtain

The role is responsible for:

• supporting environmental health & safety practices
• accountability for receiving & dispatching materials
• issuing materials and stock audits
• supervising logistics persons
